With a length of 99 meters, Madame Gu is one of the largest yachts built in the Netherlands. The yacht’s interior and exterior are designed by Andrew Winch Designs. The yacht can reach a maximum speed of 24 knots, powered by four MTU 20v diesel engines. Luxury yacht Madame Gu has a fully enclosed helicopter hangar, similar to Ecstasea. Madame Gu is rumored to be owned by Andrei Skoch. However Superyachtfan received a message from a London based law firm, stating that Mr. Skoch is actually NOT the owner of the yacht Madame Gu, and requesting kindly to remove this information. So from now on: Superyacht Madame Gu is NOT owned by Mr. Andrei Skoch. Mr. Skoch also did not own the Amels built motor yacht Gu, renamed Lady Gulya, now sold and named Astrid Conroy. Early 2014, Madame Gu was spotted in Barcelona.. The yacht has an impressive tender: a Eurocopter Dauphin AS 365N3, with a cost price of around US$ 9 million. She is registered to Monacair, with registration number 3A-MGU.

His father, Vladimir Skoch, is the beneficiary of the trust that is a 30% shareholder of USM Holdings, a holding company with different assets includingMetalloinvest, one of the largest iron ore and hot- briquetted iron producers in the world and Megafon, a large telecom operator in Russia. The other shareholders of USM Holdings are Alisher Usmanov (60 percent) and Farhad Moshiri (10 percent). After studying in Moscow, Andrei Skoch started working at the MontazhSpetsBank. In 2012 Metalloinvest realized net sales of USD 8,2 billion, with 62,000 employees. In 1999 Andrei Skoch became as Russian parliamentary deputy. Skoch is known as ‘the richest man in the Duma’. The net worth of Skoch is estimated at USD 5.8 billion. Andrei Skoch is an active philanthropist, in 2013 he was named one of the Top 10 Donors, by Bloomberg.com, after donating more than US$ 117 million in three years.
